Ebook About
The US Central Intelligence Agency is no stranger to conspiracy and allegations of corruption. Across the globe, violent coups have been orchestrated, high-profile targets kidnapped, and world leaders dispatched at the hands of CIA agents. During the 1960s, on domestic soil, the methods used to protect their interests and themselves at the expense of the American people were no less ruthless. In CIA Rogues and the Killing of the Kennedys, Patrick Nolan fearlessly investigates the CIA’s involvement in the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy and Senator Robert F. Kennedy—why the brothers needed to die and how rogue intelligence agents orchestrated history’s most infamous conspiracy.Nolan furthers the research of leading forensic scientists, historians, and scholars who agree that there remain serious unanswered questions regarding the assassinations of John F. Kennedy fifty years ago and Robert F. Kennedy in 1968. He revisits and refutes what is currently known about Lee Harvey Oswald and Sirhan Bishara Sirhan, and offers readers a compelling profile of the CIA’s Richard Helms, an amoral master of clandestine operations with a chip on his shoulder.Bolstered by a foreword by Dr. Henry C. Lee, one of the world’s foremost forensic authorities, CIA Rogues and the Killing of the Kennedys is an unmatched effort in forensic research and detective work. As the fiftieth anniversary of the JFK assassination approaches, Nolan has made a significant contribution to the literature on that fateful day in Dallas as well as shed light on that dark night at the Ambassador Hotel. Readers interested in conspiracy, the Kennedy family, or American history will find this book invaluable.

Book CIA Rogues and the Killing of the Kennedys: How and Why US Agents Conspired to Assassinate JFK and RFK Review :

I gave up after 1/3 way through, too many generalities, lack of details. Circular loops of condemnation based on insufficient detailed facts.I'd wished for harder evidence that rogue or out of control CIA personnel really were more targeted credibly, as we all hope that just desserts is done to those that murdered Kennedy. I'm not a believer that Oswald did it alone, he seems the patsy, as he claimed.I've talked to ex Marines who think they could have made the shots, and that a young ex marine, as Oswald was, could have made the shots. But other things in other books make this almost impossible Oswald could have done it alone, and the intel connections he had, point to him being manipulated around by some intel missions he was was being pushed to engage in."On the Trail of the Assassins" by Garrison, is a far better book.Disappointed. I'll read the NY Times' ongoing coverage of the intel community's bad behavior and be more accurately informed and satisfied.Intel bureaucratic groups have to do devious intricately dodging things, that's their business. In the end of the day, the intel communities long operations have goals. One thing the conspiracy angled books must state, is that intel ops by the good guys have to sometimes be dirty to blend in, and infiltrate. That is the touchiest info to have to accept.Good guys in intel services and cops who go undercover, act dirty, and worse, to ingratiate and infiltrate. This life of those that have to do the dirty acting to get the really bad guys/girls, is their touchiest intel secrets.I read some British undercover expose articles on how they had to do horribly murderous activity to get to the top of the IRA, they did it, supposedly and eventually the IRA unravelled.Really, all one can hope is the higher ups in the worlds' countries' intel bureaucracies have overall longrange good motives. The intel business' subterfuge is a given. One hopes the top men and women in their ranks are decent. It's such a devilish business.Citizens who write books exposing intel operations I'm all ears. This one disappointed.
This book is fabulous but real, credible, and well documented. My father was attorney to one of the hypnotists who has been documented elsewhere convincingly as someone who had a therapist relationship with Sirhan. I was intrigued to find several readers commenting that much of this has been covered elsewhere and better than Nolan. "Pay no attention to the wizard behind the curtain." They pay these people to throw us off the scent, never forget...Interestingly, I find that David Talbot is cited frequently and that I was at military school with him for 5 years a half century ago, though we never spoke back in those days, different circles, but I remember him and his brother Stephen well, around the campus. He is involved with the publisher Skyhorse, through Hot Books, and has done a great deal of very important research on these Kennedy martyrs, as well.In fact, he entered that military school a few months before JFK was shot.Small world, as ten years ago I began to get more incrementally involved in JFK and RFK research as well, only to find he is a leading researcher on these subjects, and coup d'état. It has an importance that cannot be undervalued, as a metric of American and indeed world history. One of the major strands of these tapestries is of Nazi swastika origins. Nazi Intel was a big player in the early formation of CIA. It is not an overreach to say that those roots intersticed with Dulles bros., reached back into the 1920s Germany. If that seems too "theorist", nota bene that Otto von Bolschwing, infamous Nazi monster of the Death Camps, lived in ease as an executive for a computer leasing company in SACRAMENTO, Ca., until he died there in the mid-Seventies. It was the CIA itself that covered up his Nazi past completely, until he was "found out" and taken to task by Uncle Sam in his last days, already dying of a fatal brain disease.Well, so much for that. Better late than never, right?Right??Absolutely riveting book by Nolan, with over a thousand references to documentation.Solid.
